About Me

Thankyou for checking out my work.

I’m a Sydney-based Cinematographer with 10 years experience shooting for a global catalogue of projects and clients, from documentaries in Africa & metal tours across Europe, to commercial and feature film sets Australia-wide.

I got my start shooting & editing branded content for tech startups, freelancing for some years before enrolling in the Master of Arts Screen (Cinematography) at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School in 2018.

After graduating in 2019, I spent two years working as a lighting technician in the Australian film industry, before pivoting to focus on Cinematography and starting a production company, Stillpoint, with close friend and collaborator, Declan Blackall in 2022.

This marked a return to full-time shooting after years of broader professional development, which I saw as necessary to solidify my creative approach to image-making with a deep technical knowledge of lighting and colour science.

These days, my time is split between my freelance career as a Cinematographer and continuing to grow Stillpoint, improving the quality of our visual offerings with each new project.

More recently, I’ve been experimenting with, and researching generative AI tools (and their ethical problems), sharing what I’ve learned with the filmmaking community. I presented on the subject at the Australian Cinematographers Society in 2024, and aim to continue spreading critical knowledge and awareness of generative AI to help film & TV professionals adapt to a rapidly transforming industry.

In all my work, I aim to serve the vision of storytellers, brands & artists by dressing their work in the light and textures that evoke their emotional centres.
